Gluckskafer Children's Wooden Kitchen
The Gluckskafer Play Kitchen is a prime example of Gluckskafer's outstanding workmanship and high-quality craft.
All parts of the play kitchen (with the exception of the sink and door handles) are made out of sustainably sourced solid beech and linden wood making it a very robust piece of furniture that will see through many generations of star chefs and culinary creations. The kitchen is also finished in natural-based oils which are not only safe for children but also allow the beautiful, warm wooden grain to remain on display for aesthetics.
The Play Kitchen features a stainless steel sink with a faucet and taps, a three-burner stove, an oven with two baking trays and a cupboard. The delightful red dials on the stove produce a striking "clack" when turned and the sink is removable to add that extra element of fun.
Imitating the everyday actions of adults in the home is considered to be a very important step in the development of children and the preparation and cooking of food is certainly an important one. Children as young as one are already eager to learn how to cut their own apples or pour their own orange juice. In their own Gluckskafer Play Kitchen, all these experiences can be replayed independently and most importantly safely.
