Stockmar Pencils hexagonal single colour - box 12

Stockmar Coloured Pencils are a high quality childrens or adults pencil made from FSC-certified linden (also known as lime) wood.

The Hexagonal pencils come in 25 superior quality luminous colours which blend beautifully together. The colours are long lasting water resistant and based on the extended Goethe Colour Circle.

Each pencil has an extra thick lead (6.25mm diameter) in an easy-to-hold hexagonal shaped pencil (10mm diameter).

They are easy to sharpen and they can be sharpened with any large holed pencil sharpener.

The pencil is made using untreated lime tree wood from sustainable forestry and FSC-certified timber

In Steiner education the thick and chunky Hexagonal pencil is used in the transition from crayon to pencil. The hexagonal pencil still contains the archetypal roundness of the crayon but with the introduction of gentle straight edges and corners to gently introduce more precise writing and drawing skills.
