Making history come alive...

Over 40 years ago, Amalia and Albert Vah founded a successful woodworking family business in Germany, and in 2002 they passed it on to their son Dominic, a father of four and a master carpenter by trade.

Dominic’s expertise in traditional handicraft, his innovative ideas and his love for history all come together in VAH Spielzeugmanufaktur’s beautiful range of handmade toys and dressing up costumes. 

It is VAH's mission to create products that are of the highest quality and that are sturdy enough to handle many years of play, while also championing sustainable production and a deep respect for the environment. All of VAH’s toys and costumes are made from natural materials, including beech wood from sustainably managed local forests, sustainably sourced leather, wool felt and cotton fabrics. Whenever possible VAH avoid using any form of plastic in their products or their packaging.
