How do a Left and Right handed sharpener differ?

A good question ... to experiment if you have a sharpener and a pencil handy try rotating it the wrong way.

In our left handed sharpener the blade points the other way so instead of rotating the pencil clockwise to sharpen it you turn it anti-clockwise. This is a much more natural movement for the left handed person and simple thing to make life less challenging in a right handed world!
